MP3 Options
MP3 Files contain a unique set of information called an ID3 tag. This information allows us to automatically rename a file based on Artist, Album, Songname, and more. To access these special renaming rules, click MP3 Music on the top bar.
Predefined Format:
Selecting this option allows you to choose from a list of predefined name formats.
Custom Format:
This allows you to define a custom format for your MP3 name. You can use the tags below anywhere in the name. For example you could enter "This is my totally awesome song called %songname%, which was written by %artist%" and you would get something like ""This is my totally awesome song called Blazing Rock, which was written by Rockin Dude"
Tags:
ID3 Tags contain up to 9 pieces of information that can be used to name your file. Some MP3 files will not contain a piece of information, if an MP3 is missing information, you will be able to identify this on the preview screen and decide if you still wish to rename the file or not.
