Managing Rules
Once you have created a rule it will appear here in the rules list. Working with rules is really very simple, the hardest thing to deal with is remembering that rules are executed in the order they are listed from top to bottom. This means that if you have an auto number rule first, followed by a set to rule, the set to rule will override the auto number. However if you have the set to rule first and then the auto number, your file would be set to the set to name and then have the number added.
Moving Rules Up And Down:
There are single up arrows and down arrows and double up arrows and down arrows. The single arrows will move the highlighted rule up or down one position in the list. The double arrows will move the rule to the top or bottom of the list.
Deleting A Rule:
Rules can be deleted by selecting them and then clicking the single X button. If you wish to delete all rules, you do so by clicking the double X button.
Preview:
Feel free to preview how your rules will effect the file name at any time. Clicking the preview button will quickly show you the changes you have made, if your not happy, simply click the cancel button on the preview screen to close it and work with your rules more.
Save/Load Rules:
Have a set of rules you will use often? Simple click the save button and give your rules a name, this will save them for later use. To retrieve them just click the load button and select them from the list of your saved rules.
