Renaming Picture Files With The Wizard
With the growing number of digital cameras used every day, you have probably noticed they aren't very good at naming their files, usually presenting only a number or something like DSC00001.jpg. With the renaming wizard, it's very easy to give these files a meaning full name.
First select whether you want the file to have a name followed by number, or numbers followed by a name. To see how this looks click either option and observe the file name preview below. Once you have selected a format you need to create a name. This name can be any logical name such as Mom & Dad In Hawaii which would then change the file name to "Mom & Dad In Hawaii 0001".
Remember that you can be creative with your names, any valid Windows file name can be used, allowing you to make your photos much more identifiable.
Click finish when you are ready and you will be presented with a final preview screen that will allow you one last chance to select files you may not wish to rename.
