Advanced Search Options
These options should only be changed if you are familular with computer and file searching.
Show Icons In Results:
If this is checked then Burn Rubber will access each file it finds and display the icon for it. This can be helpful in identifying files of a particular type. However it does slow down the search process. If you don't need the icons, uncheck this to increase your search speed.
Show Folders In Results:
If this is checked then Burn Rubber will return folders in your results that match the name you searched for as well.
Force Re-Index With Every Search:
Burn Rubber works by indexing all of the files on your drives before it searches. Generally these indexes are rebuilt every few hours in the background, so that you are not delayed by them. However if you need to force an index update, you can check this box and every time you search, Burn Rubber will rebuild the indexes.
Search Inside These File Types For Text:
On the search screen you have the option to search inside files for a particular string. This list is the file types Burn Rubber will search inside of. To add or delete a file type, simply add or remove it from this field. Seperate file types by a space.
Disable 1000 Results Hard Limit:
Generally you will never exceed 1000 matching files, but in case you need to return more results, you can do so by checking this field.
