Setting Display Options
There are two main catagories of options, the image display options and the application startup options. Lets begin with the image display options.
eXibition Wallpaper Manager can display your image in several different ways. The first is to display it as is, in the center of the screen. To do this we would uncheck the stretch and tile options. You probably only want to do this if the image is already scaled for your desktop.
Images can also be resized to fit your desktop if they are to large or two small, this can be done by checking the STRETCH IMAGE checkbox. Stretching an image to fit will make it fill the entire screen, this may distort some photographs. To prevent this also check the MAINTAIN ASPECT RATIO checkbox. This will make the image scale to the largest it can be on your screen, without distorting it.
You can also tile an image across the screen, this works best with small images. This will not resize the image, but will instead use multiple copies of the image to cover the entire screen.
By default Wallpaper Manager will automatically rotate your background every 5 minutes. You can disable this by unchecking the ROTATE checkbox, doing this will require you to double click an image on the preview tab to change your desktop. You also have the option to change the number of minutes between wallpaper changes by changing the minutes field. Finally there is the random order option. This is like the shuffle feature on your CD player. It will cause the images to display in a random order instead of sequentially.
Next you have the startup options, these options will allow you to automatically start Wallpaper Manager when you log into windows, automatically check our website for product updates, and automatically hide the Wallpaper Manager to the tray on startup.
