Posting Groups are basically list of newsgroups to post to. To create a reusable group, you will need to go to FILE - MANAGE GROUPS from the main window. This will display the above screen.

Creating posting groups is an easy way to post like messages to the same newsgroups over and over without having to select the groups each time.

To create a group, click the NEW button and enter a name for your group. Next select your server from the SERVER TO SELECT GROUPS FROM list. If you haven't created a server click the Manage Servers button to the left of this text.

Double click the groups from the list on the left that you want to post to. Then click the SAVE LIST button.

Server To Select Groups From:

This is a list of all the servers you have created, selecting one of these servers will display a list of groups available on that server, below.

Group Listing Name:

This is the name of the group you have created. If you wish to edit an existing group, simply select it from the list.

Quick Search:

This will limit the list of groups on the server to only the groups matching your search string.

Add All Matches:

This button will appear if you have run a quick search. Click it to add all the matching newsgroups to your post to list.

Available Groups:

A listing of all groups available on the server you have selected.

Selected Groups:

A list of all groups you have selected to post to.

Delete List:

Will delete this group listing.

Save List:

Will save your currently selected list.

Update Server Groups:

Will connect to the server you have selected and download a fresh list of newsgroups available on that server.
